A Dead Xbox

Today, my Xbox started to ROD. I didn't know what to do to save it.
First I wanted to know if warranty was OK but it wasn't... since 2 years...
So I looked on the Internet to find a way to save it and finally I decided to open it. It was easy to do and the whole operation took me about 15~20 minutes.
When it was open, I saw a lot of dust so I used the vacuum to clean everything.
Because I didn't know what to do at this point, I plugged all the cables and switch on the Xbox. Miraculously there was no ROD anymore. And since 3 hours, I play with an open Xbox and it works fine !

Here it is :

  1. Quick-fixes like that are only temporary. You can also wrap the xbox in a blanket and leave it on for about a half hour, then let it cool down.

Either way, you'll most likely have to do it again in a couple weeks, or get a new one.
